1 Kings 22:32-34
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 22
32
So when the commanders of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, they said, 'Surely he is the king of Israel!' And they turned aside to fight against him, and Jehoshaphat cried out.
33
Then, when the commanders of the chariots saw that it was not the king of Israel, they turned back from pursuing him.
34
Now one man drew his bow at random and struck the king of Israel in a joint of the armor. So he said to the driver of his chariot, 'Turn around and take me out of the battle, for I am severely wounded.'
King James Version

And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, Surely it is the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him: and Jehoshaphat cried out.
33
And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots perceived that it was not the king of Israel, that they turned back from pursuing him.
34
And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thine hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.
Christian Standard Bible

When the chariot commanders saw that he was not the king of Israel, they turned back from pursuing him.
34
But a man drew his bow without taking special aim and struck the king of Israel through the joints of his armor. So he said to his charioteer, "Turn around and take me out of the battle, for I am badly wounded!"

34
An Aramean soldier, however, randomly shot an arrow at the Israelite troops and hit the king of Israel between the joints of his armor. 'Turn the horses and get me out of here!' Ahab groaned to the driver of his chariot. 'I’m badly wounded!'
