1 Corinthians 15:36-39
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 15
36You fool! That which you sow does not come to life unless it dies; 37and that which you sow, you do not sow the body which is to be, but a bare grain, perhaps of wheat or of something else. 38But God gives it a body just as He wished, and to each of the seeds a body of its own. 39All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of mankind, another flesh of animals, another flesh of birds, and another of fish.King James Version
Chapter 15
36Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: 37And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: 38But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. 39All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 15
36You fool! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. 37And as for what you sow--you are not sowing the body that will be, but only a seed, perhaps of wheat or another grain. 38But God gives it a body as he wants, and to each of the seeds its own body. 39Not all flesh is the same flesh; there is one flesh for humans, another for animals, another for birds, and another for fish.New Living Translation
Chapter 15
36What a foolish question! When you put a seed into the ground, it doesn’t grow into a plant unless it dies first. 37And what you put in the ground is not the plant that will grow, but only a bare seed of wheat or whatever you are planting. 38Then God gives it the new body he wants it to have. A different plant grows from each kind of seed. 39Similarly there are different kinds of flesh — one kind for humans, another for animals, another for birds, and another for fish.English Standard Version
Chapter 15
36You foolish person! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. 37And what you sow is not the body that is to be, but a bare kernel, perhaps of wheat or of some other grain. 38But God gives it a body as he has chosen, and to each kind of seed its own body. 39For not all flesh is the same, but there is one kind for humans, another for animals, another for birds, and another for fish.New International Version
