1 Corinthians 15:32-36
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 15
32If from human motives I fought with wild beasts at Ephesus, what good is it to me? If the dead are not raised, LET’S EAT AND DRINK, FOR TOMORROW WE DIE. 33Do not be deceived: 'Bad company corrupts good morals.' 34Sober up morally and stop sinning, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.King James Version
Chapter 15
32If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die. 33Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. 34Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 15
32If I fought wild beasts in Ephesus as a mere man, what good did that do me? If the dead are not raised, Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die. 33Do not be deceived: "Bad company corrupts good morals." 34Come to your senses and stop sinning; for some people are ignorant about God. I say this to your shame.New Living Translation
Chapter 15
32And what value was there in fighting wild beasts — those people of Ephesus — if there will be no resurrection from the dead? And if there is no resurrection, 'Let’s feast and drink, for tomorrow we die!' 33Don’t be fooled by those who say such things, for 'bad company corrupts good character.' 34Think carefully about what is right, and stop sinning. For to your shame I say that some of you don’t know God at all.English Standard Version
Chapter 15
32What do I gain if, humanly speaking, I fought with beasts at Ephesus? If the dead are not raised, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.” 33Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.” 34Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.New International Version
