Ruth 1:4-6
New American Standard Bible

4
And they took for themselves Moabite women
as
wives; the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other, Ruth. And they lived there about ten years.
5
Then both Mahlon and Chilion also died, and the woman was left without her two sons and her husband.
6
Then she arose with her daughters-in-law to return from the land of Moab, because she had heard in the land of Moab that the
Lord
had visited His people by giving them food.
King James Version

5
And Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband.
6
Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visited his people in giving them bread.
Christian Standard Bible

She and her daughters-in-law set out to return from the territory of Moab, because she had heard in Moab that the Lord had paid attention to his people's need by providing them food.
New Living Translation
Chapter 1
4
The two sons married Moabite women. One married a woman named Orpah, and the other a woman named Ruth. But about ten years later,
5
both Mahlon and Kilion died. This left Naomi alone, without her two sons or her husband.
6
Then Naomi heard in Moab that the
Lord
had blessed his people in Judah by giving them good crops again. So Naomi and her daughters-in-law got ready to leave Moab to return to her homeland.
English Standard Version
