Romans 12:7-12

Chapter 12
7if service, in the act of serving; or the one who teaches, in the act of teaching; 8or the one who exhorts, in the work of exhortation; the one who gives, with generosity; the one who is in leadership, with diligence; the one who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
9Love must be free of hypocrisy. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good.
10Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor,
11not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
12rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer,

7if service, use it in service; if teaching, in teaching; 8if exhorting, in exhortation; giving, with generosity; leading, with diligence; showing mercy, with cheerfulness.
9Let love be without hypocrisy. Detest evil; cling to what is good.
10Love one another deeply as brothers and sisters. Take the lead in honoring one another.
11Do not lack diligence in zeal; be fervent in the Spirit; serve the Lord.
12Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; be persistent in prayer.

7If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. 8If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
9Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.
10Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.
11Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.
12Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.
