Proverbs 30:1-7
New American Standard Bible
2I am certainly more stupid than any man, And I do not have the understanding of a man;
3Nor have I learned wisdom, Nor do I have the knowledge of the Holy One.
4Who has ascended into heaven and descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has wrapped the waters in His garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name or His Son’s name? Surely you know!
5Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.
6Do not add to His words Or He will rebuke you, and you will be proved a liar.
7Two things I have asked of You; Do not refuse me before I die:
King James Version
Chapter 30
1The words of Agur the son of Jakeh, even the prophecy: the man spake unto Ithiel, even unto Ithiel and Ucal, 2Surely I am more brutish than any man, and have not the understanding of a man. 3I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy. 4Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell? 5Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. 6Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.Christian Standard Bible

The man's oration to Ithiel, to Ithiel and Ucal: 2I am more stupid than any other person, and I lack a human's ability to understand. 3I have not gained wisdom, and I have no knowledge of the Holy One. 4Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in his hands? Who has bound up the waters in a cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is the name of his son -- if you know? 5Every word of God is pure; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.New Living Translation

6Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you and you be found a liar.
