Philippians 1:1-8
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 1
1Paul and Timothy, bond-servants of Christ Jesus, To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, including the overseers and deacons: 2Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3I thank my God in all my remembrance of you,
4always offering prayer with joy in my every prayer for you all,
5in view of your participation in the gospel from the first day until now.
6For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work among you will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus.
7For it is only right for me to feel this way about you all, because I have you in my heart, since both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers of grace with me.
8For God is my witness, how I long for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.
King James Version
Chapter 1
1Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons: 2Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
5For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
6Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Christian Standard Bible
3I give thanks to my God for every remembrance of you,
4always praying with joy for all of you in my every prayer,
5because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.
6I am sure of this, that he who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
7Indeed, it is right for me to think this way about all of you, because I have you in my heart, and you are all partners with me in grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel.
8For God is my witness, how deeply I miss all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.
New Living Translation
3Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God.
4Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy,
5for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now.
6And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
7So it is right that I should feel as I do about all of you, for you have a special place in my heart. You share with me the special favor of God, both in my imprisonment and in defending and confirming the truth of the Good News.
8God knows how much I love you and long for you with the tender compassion of Christ Jesus.
English Standard Version

5because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.
6And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
7It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel.
8For God is my witness, how I yearn for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.

New King James Version
3I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy,
5for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now,
6being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
7just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers with me of grace.
8For God is my witness, how greatly I long for you all with the affection of Jesus Christ.
