But he did not give
any
to the sons of Kohath, because theirs
was
the service of the holy
objects, which
they carried on the shoulder.
10
And the leaders offered the dedication
offering
for the altar when it was anointed, so the leaders offered their offering before the altar.
11
Then the
Lord
said to Moses, 'They shall present their offering, one leader each day, for the dedication of the altar.'
12
Now the one who presented his offering on the first day was Nahshon the son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah;

And four wagons and eight oxen he gave unto the sons of Merari, according unto their service, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

But unto the sons of Kohath he gave none: because the service of the sanctuary belonging unto them was that they should bear upon their shoulders.
10
And the princes offered for dedicating of the altar in the day that it was anointed, even the princes offered their offering before the altar.
11
And the
Lord
said unto Moses, They shall offer their offering, each prince on his day, for the dedicating of the altar.
12
And he that offered his offering the first day was Nahshon the son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah:

and gave the Merarites four carts and eight oxen corresponding to their service, under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.

But he did not give any to the Kohathites, since their responsibility was service related to the holy objects carried on their shoulders.

The leaders also presented the dedication gift for the altar when it was anointed. The leaders presented their offerings in front of the altar.

The
Lord
told Moses, "Each day have one leader present his offering for the dedication of the altar."
12
The one who presented his offering on the first day was Nahshon son of Amminadab from the tribe of Judah.

and he gave four wagons and eight oxen to the Merarite division for their work. All their work was done under the leadership of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.

But he gave none of the wagons or oxen to the Kohathite division, since they were required to carry the sacred objects of the Tabernacle on their shoulders.
10
The leaders also presented dedication gifts for the altar at the time it was anointed. They each placed their gifts before the altar.

The
Lord
said to Moses, 'Let one leader bring his gift each day for the dedication of the altar.'
12
On the first day Nahshon son of Amminadab, leader of the tribe of Judah, presented his offering.
