Then the leaders of Israel, the heads of their fathers’ households, made an offering (they were the leaders of the tribes; they were the supervisors over the numbered men).

When they brought their offering before the
Lord
, six covered carts and twelve oxen, a cart for
every
two of the leaders and an ox for each one, then they presented them in front of the tabernacle.
4
Then the
Lord
spoke to Moses, saying,
5
Accept
these things
from them, that they may be used in the service of the tent of meeting, and you shall give them to the Levites,
to
each man according to his service.'
6
So Moses took the carts and the oxen and gave them to the Levites.
7
Two carts and four oxen he gave to the sons of Gershon, according to their service,

That the princes of Israel, heads of the house of their fathers, who were the princes of the tribes, and were over them that were numbered, offered:

Lord
, six covered wagons, and twelve oxen; a wagon for two of the princes, and for each one an ox: and they brought them before the tabernacle.

Lord
spake unto Moses, saying,

Take it of them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service.

And Moses took the wagons and the oxen, and gave them unto the Levites.

Two wagons and four oxen he gave unto the sons of Gershon, according to their service:

They brought as their offering before the
Lord
six covered carts and twelve oxen, a cart from every two leaders and an ox from each one, and presented them in front of the tabernacle.

said to Moses,

"Accept these from them to be used in the work of the tent of meeting, and give this offering to the Levites, to each division according to their service."

So Moses took the carts and oxen and gave them to the Levites.

He gave the Gershonites two carts and four oxen corresponding to their service,

Together they brought six large wagons and twelve oxen. There was a wagon for every two leaders and an ox for each leader. They presented these to the
Lord

said to Moses,

Receive their gifts, and use these oxen and wagons for transporting the Tabernacle. Distribute them among the Levites according to the work they have to do.'
