11The sons of Korah, however, did not die.
12The sons of Simeon by their families: of Nemuel, the family of the Nemuelites; of Jamin, the family of the Jaminites; of Jachin, the family of the Jachinites;
13of Zerah, the family of the Zerahites; of Shaul, the family of the Shaulites.
14These are the families of the Simeonites, 22,200 in number.
15The sons of Gad by their families: of Zephon, the family of the Zephonites; of Haggi, the family of the Haggites; of Shuni, the family of the Shunites;
16of Ozni, the family of the Oznites; of Eri, the family of the Erites;
17of Arod, the family of the Arodites; of Areli, the family of the Arelites.
18These are the families of the sons of Gad according to those who were numbered of them, 40,500.
19The sons of Judah were Er and Onan, but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.
20The sons of Judah by their families were: of Shelah, the family of the Shelanites; of Perez, the family of the Perezites; of Zerah, the family of the Zerahites.
21The sons of Perez were: of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites.
22These are the families of Judah by those who were numbered of them, 76,500.
23The sons of Issachar by their families: of Tola, the family of the Tolaites; of Puvah, the family of the Punites;
24of Jashub, the family of the Jashubites; of Shimron, the family of the Shimronites.
25These are the families of Issachar by those who were numbered of them, 64,300.
26The sons of Zebulun by their families: of Sered, the family of the Seredites; of Elon, the family of the Elonites; of Jahleel, the family of the Jahleelites.
27These are the families of the Zebulunites by those who were numbered of them, 60,500.
28The sons of Joseph by their families: Manasseh and Ephraim.
29The sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites; and Machir fathered Gilead: of Gilead, the family of the Gileadites.
30These are the sons of Gilead: of Iezer, the family of the Iezerites; of Helek, the family of the Helekites;
31and of Asriel, the family of the Asrielites; and of Shechem, the family of the Shechemites;
32and of Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites; and of Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.
33Now Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, only daughters; and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
34These are the families of Manasseh; and those who were numbered of them were 52,700.
35These are the sons of Ephraim by their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthelahites; of Becher, the family of the Becherites; of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.
36These are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.
37These are the families of the sons of Ephraim by those who were numbered of them, 32,500. These are the sons of Joseph by their families.
38The sons of Benjamin by their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites;
39of Shephupham, the family of the Shuphamites; of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites.
40The sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman: of Ard, the family of the Ardites; of Naaman, the family of the Naamites.
41These are the sons of Benjamin by their families; and those who were numbered of them were 45,600.
42These are the sons of Dan by their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan by their families.
43All the families of the Shuhamites, by those who were numbered of them, were 64,400.
44The sons of Asher by their families: of Imnah, the family of the Imnites; of Ishvi, the family of the Ishvites; of Beriah, the family of the Beriites.
45Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites; of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.
46And the name of the daughter of Asher was Serah.
47These are the families of the sons of Asher by those who were numbered of them, 53,400.
48The sons of Naphtali by their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites;
49of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.
50These are the families of Naphtali by their families; and those who were numbered of them were 45,400.
52Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
53Among these the land shall be divided as an inheritance according to the number of names.
54To a larger group you shall increase their inheritance, and to a smaller group you shall decrease their inheritance; each shall be given their inheritance corresponding to the total of those who were numbered of them.
55But the land shall be divided by lot. They shall receive their inheritance according to the names of the tribes of their fathers.
56Corresponding to the selection by lot, their inheritance shall be divided between the larger and the smaller groups.'
57These are those who were numbered of the Levites according to their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
58These are the families of Levi: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, and the family of the Korahites. Kohath fathered Amram.
59And the name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt; and she bore to Amram Aaron and Moses, and their sister Miriam.
60And to Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
61But Nadab and Abihu died when they offered strange fire before the Lord.

52And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
53Unto these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names.
54To many thou shalt give the more inheritance, and to few thou shalt give the less inheritance: to every one shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him.
55Notwithstanding the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.
56According to the lot shall the possession thereof be divided between many and few.
57And these are they that were numbered of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites: of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites: of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
58These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korathites. And Kohath begat Amram.
59And the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom her mother bare to Levi in Egypt: and she bare unto Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.
60And unto Aaron was born Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
61And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before the Lord.

18These were the Gadite clans numbered by their registered men: 40,500.
50These were the Naphtali clans numbered by their registered men: 45,400.
51These registered Israelite men numbered 601,730.
52The Lord spoke to Moses,
53"The land is to be divided among them as an inheritance based on the number of names.
54Increase the inheritance for a large tribe and decrease it for a small one. Each is to be given its inheritance according to those who were registered in it.
55The land is to be divided by lot; they will receive an inheritance according to the names of their ancestral tribes.
56Each inheritance will be divided by lot among the larger and smaller tribes."
58These were the Levite family groups: the Libnite clan, the Hebronite clan, the Mahlite clan, the Mushite clan, and the Korahite clan. Kohath was the ancestor of Amram.
59The name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed, a descendant of Levi, born to Levi in Egypt. She bore to Amram: Aaron, Moses, and their sister Miriam.
60Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar were born to Aaron,
61but Nadab and Abihu died when they presented unauthorized fire before the Lord.

52Then the Lord said to Moses,
53Divide the land among the tribes, and distribute the grants of land in proportion to the tribes’ populations, as indicated by the number of names on the list.
54Give the larger tribes more land and the smaller tribes less land, each group receiving a grant in proportion to the size of its population.
55But you must assign the land by lot, and give land to each ancestral tribe according to the number of names on the list.
56Each grant of land must be assigned by lot among the larger and smaller tribal groups.'
58The Libnites, the Hebronites, the Mahlites, the Mushites, and the Korahites were all subclans of the Levites. Now Kohath was the ancestor of Amram,
59and Amram’s wife was named Jochebed. She also was a descendant of Levi, born among the Levites in the land of Egypt. Amram and Jochebed became the parents of Aaron, Moses, and their sister, Miriam.
60To Aaron were born Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
61But Nadab and Abihu died when they burned before the Lord the wrong kind of fire, different than he had commanded.

55Be sure that the land is distributed by lot. What each group inherits will be according to the names for its ancestral tribe.
56Each inheritance is to be distributed by lot among the larger and smaller groups."

49of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.
50These are the families of Naphtali according to their families; and those who were numbered of them were forty-five thousand four hundred.
52Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
53“To these the land shall be divided as an inheritance, according to the number of names.
54To a large tribe you shall give a larger inheritance, and to a small tribe you shall give a smaller inheritance. Each shall be given its inheritance according to those who were numbered of them.
55But the land shall be divided by lot; they shall inherit according to the names of the tribes of their fathers.
56According to the lot their inheritance shall be divided between the larger and the smaller.”
57And these are those who were numbered of the Levites according to their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
58These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, and the family of the Korathites. And Kohath begot Amram.
59The name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt; and to Amram she bore Aaron and Moses and their sister Miriam.
60To Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
61And Nadab and Abihu died when they offered profane fire before the Lord.
