Chapter 8
1
When Jesus came down from the mountain, large crowds followed Him.
2
And a man with leprosy came to Him and bowed down before Him, and said, 'Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.'
3
Jesus reached out with His hand and touched him, saying, 'I am willing; be cleansed.' And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4
And Jesus *said to him, 'See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.'
5
And when Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, begging Him,
6
and saying, 'Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, terribly tormented.'
7
Jesus *said to him, 'I will come and heal him.'

When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
2
And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
3
And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4
And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
5
And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
6
And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
7
And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

Right away a man with leprosy came up and knelt before him, saying, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean."

Reaching out his hand, Jesus touched him, saying, "I am willing; be made clean." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Then Jesus told him, "See that you don’t tell anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."

When he entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, pleading with him,

"Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, in terrible agony."

He said to him, "Am I to come and heal him?"

Chapter 8
1
Large crowds followed Jesus as he came down the mountainside.
2
Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached him and knelt before him. 'Lord,' the man said, 'if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.'
3
Jesus reached out and touched him. 'I am willing,' he said. 'Be healed!' And instantly the leprosy disappeared.
4
Then Jesus said to him, 'Don’t tell anyone about this. Instead, go to the priest and let him examine you. Take along the offering required in the law of Moses for those who have been healed of leprosy. This will be a public testimony that you have been cleansed.'
5
When Jesus returned to Capernaum, a Roman officer came and pleaded with him,
6
Lord, my young servant lies in bed, paralyzed and in terrible pain.'
7
Jesus said, 'I will come and heal him.'

And he said to him, "I will come and heal him."
