Matthew 24:31-33
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 24
31
And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET BLAST, and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
32
Now learn the parable from the fig tree: as soon as its branch has become tender and sprouts its leaves, you know that summer is near;
33
so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near,
right
at the door.
King James Version
Chapter 24
31
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer
is
nigh:
33
So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near,
even
at the doors.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 24
31
He will send out his angels with a loud trumpet, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
32
"Learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near.
33
In the same way, when you see all these things, recognize that he is near--at the door.
New Living Translation
Chapter 24
31
And he will send out his angels with the mighty blast of a trumpet, and they will gather his chosen ones from all over the world — from the farthest ends of the earth and heaven.
32
Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near.
33
In the same way, when you see all these things, you can know his return is very near, right at the door.
English Standard Version
Chapter 24
31
And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32
“From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near.
33
So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the very gates.
New International Version
Chapter 24
31
And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
32
Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.
33
Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.
New King James Version
Chapter 24
31
And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32
“Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer
is
near.
33
So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors!
