Chapter 22

32‘I AM THE God OF ABRAHAM, THE God OF ISAAC, AND THE God OF JACOB’? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.' 33When the crowds heard this, they were astonished at His teaching.
34But when the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. 35And one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him:

32I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
33And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.
34But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. 35Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
