1
Six days later, Jesus *took with Him Peter and James, and his brother John, and *led them up on a high mountain by themselves.

And He was transfigured before them; and His face shone like the sun, and His garments became as white as light.
3
And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.
4
Peter responded and said to Jesus, 'Lord, it is good that we are here. If You want, I will make three tabernacles here: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.'

And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,

And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

After six days Jesus took Peter, James, and his brother John and led them up on a high mountain by themselves.

He was transfigured in front of them, and his face shone like the sun; his clothes became as white as the light.

Suddenly, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with him.

Then Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, it’s good for us to be here. I will set up three shelters here: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."

Six days later Jesus took Peter and the two brothers, James and John, and led them up a high mountain to be alone.

As the men watched, Jesus’ appearance was transformed so that his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as light.

Suddenly, Moses and Elijah appeared and began talking with Jesus.
4
Peter exclaimed, 'Lord, it’s wonderful for us to be here! If you want, I’ll make three shelters as memorials — one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.'
