whose hand was withered. And they questioned Jesus, asking, 'Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?'—so that they might bring charges against Him.

And, behold, there was a man which had
his
hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.

Moving on from there, he entered their synagogue.

There he saw a man who had a shriveled hand, and in order to accuse him they asked him, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath? "

Then Jesus went over to their synagogue,

where he noticed a man with a deformed hand. The Pharisees asked Jesus, 'Does the law permit a person to work by healing on the Sabbath?' (They were hoping he would say yes, so they could bring charges against him.)
