15There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man. 16If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. 17And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable. 18And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him; 19Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?Christian Standard Bible

Chapter 7
15It’s not what goes into your body that defiles you; you are defiled by what comes from your heart. ' 16
17Then Jesus went into a house to get away from the crowd, and his disciples asked him what he meant by the parable he had just used.
18Don’t you understand either?' he asked. 'Can’t you see that the food you put into your body cannot defile you?
19Food doesn’t go into your heart, but only passes through the stomach and then goes into the sewer.' (By saying this, he declared that every kind of food is acceptable in God’s eyes.)

18So He said to them, “Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him,
19because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?”
