Then He got into the boat with them, and the wind stopped; and they were utterly astonished,

for they had not gained any insight from
the incident of
the loaves, but their hearts were hardened.

For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.

Then he got into the boat with them, and the wind ceased. They were completely astounded,

because they had not understood about the loaves. Instead, their hearts were hardened.

for they still didn’t understand the significance of the miracle of the loaves. Their hearts were too hard to take it in.
