Chapter 5
But Jesus, overhearing what was being spoken, *said to the synagogue official, 'Do not be afraid, only believe.' 37And He allowed no one to accompany Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James. 38They *came to the house of the synagogue official, and He *saw a commotion, and people loudly weeping and wailing. 39And after entering, He *said to them, 'Why are you making a commotion and weeping? The child has not died, but is asleep.' 40And they began laughing at Him. But putting them all outside, He *took along the child’s father and mother and His own companions, and *entered the room where the child was in bed. 41And taking the child by the hand, He *said to her, 'Talitha, kum!' (which translated means, 'Little girl, I say to you, get up!'). 42And immediately the girl got up and began to walk, for she was twelve years old. And immediately they were completely astonished. 43And He gave them strict orders that no one was to know about this, and He told them to have something given her to eat.King James Version
Chapter 5
As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe. 37And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James. 38And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly. 39And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. 40And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying. 41And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. 42And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment. 43And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.Christian Standard Bible

Then Jesus stopped the crowd and wouldn’t let anyone go with him except Peter, James, and John (the brother of James).
When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw much commotion and weeping and wailing.
He went inside and asked, 'Why all this commotion and weeping? The child isn’t dead; she’s only asleep.'
The crowd laughed at him. But he made them all leave, and he took the girl’s father and mother and his three disciples into the room where the girl was lying.
Holding her hand, he said to her, 'Talitha koum,' which means 'Little girl, get up!'
And the girl, who was twelve years old, immediately stood up and walked around! They were overwhelmed and totally amazed.
Jesus gave them strict orders not to tell anyone what had happened, and then he told them to give her something to eat.
