And He allowed no one to accompany Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James.

As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.

And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.

When Jesus overheard what was said, he told the synagogue leader, "Don't be afraid. Only believe."

He did not let anyone accompany him except Peter, James, and John, James's brother.

But Jesus overheard them and said to Jairus, 'Don’t be afraid. Just have faith.'

Then Jesus stopped the crowd and wouldn’t let anyone go with him except Peter, James, and John (the brother of James).
