Leviticus 13:37-39
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 13
37
If in his sight the scale has remained, however, and black hair has grown in it, the scale has healed,
and
he is clean; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
38
When a man or a woman has bright spots on the skin of the body, white bright spots,
39
then the priest shall look, and if the bright spots on the skin of their bodies are a faint white, it is eczema that has broken out on the skin; he is clean.
King James Version
Chapter 13
37
But if the scall be in his sight at a stay, and
that
there is black hair grown up therein; the scall is healed, he
is
clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
38
If a man also or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots,
even
white bright spots;
39
Then the priest shall look: and, behold,
if
the bright spots in the skin of their flesh
be
darkish white; it
is
a freckled spot
that
groweth in the skin; he
is
clean.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 13
37
But if as far as he can see, the scaly outbreak remains unchanged and black hair has grown in it, then it has healed; he is clean. The priest is to pronounce the person clean.
38
"When a man or a woman has white spots on the skin of the body,
39
the priest is to make an examination. If the spots on the skin of the body are dull white, it is only a rash that has broken out on the skin; the person is clean.
New Living Translation
Chapter 13
37
But if the color of the scabby sore does not change and black hair has grown on it, it has healed. The priest will then pronounce the person ceremonially clean.
38
If anyone, either a man or woman, has shiny white patches on the skin,
39
the priest must examine the affected area. If he finds that the shiny patches are only pale white, this is a harmless skin rash, and the person is ceremonially clean.
English Standard Version
Chapter 13
37
But if in his eyes the itch is unchanged and black hair has grown in it, the itch is healed and he is clean, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
38
“When a man or a woman has spots on the skin of the body, white spots,
39
the priest shall look, and if the spots on the skin of the body are of a dull white, it is leukoderma that has broken out in the skin; he is clean.
New International Version
Chapter 13
37
If, however, the sore is unchanged so far as the priest can see, and if black hair has grown in it, the affected person is healed. They are clean, and the priest shall pronounce them clean.
38
When a man or woman has white spots on the skin,
39
the priest is to examine them, and if the spots are dull white, it is a harmless rash that has broken out on the skin; they are clean.
New King James Version
Chapter 13
37
But if the scale appears to be at a standstill, and there is black hair grown up in it, the scale has healed. He is clean, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
38
“If a man or a woman has bright spots on the skin of the body, specifically white bright spots,
39
then the priest shall look; and indeed if the bright spots on the skin of the body are dull white, it is a white spot that grows on the skin. He is clean.
