Chapter 19

19Yet there is both straw and feed for our donkeys, and also bread and wine for me, and your female slave, and the young man who is with your servants; there is no lack of anything.' 20Then the old man said, 'Peace to you. Only let me take care of all your needs; however, do not spend the night in the public square.' 21So he took him into his house and fed the donkeys, and they washed their feet and ate and drank.
22While they were celebrating, behold, the men of the city, certain worthless men, surrounded the house, pushing one another at the door; and they spoke to the owner of the house, the old man, saying, 'Bring out the man who entered your house that we may have relations with him.'

19Yet there is both straw and provender for our asses; and there is bread and wine also for me, and for thy handmaid, and for the young man which is with thy servants: there is no want of any thing. 20And the old man said, Peace be with thee; howsoever let all thy wants lie upon me; only lodge not in the street. 21So he brought him into his house, and gave provender unto the asses: and they washed their feet, and did eat and drink.
22Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.

Chapter 19

19although there’s straw and feed for the donkeys, and I have bread and wine for me, my concubine, and the servant with us. There is nothing we lack."
20"Welcome!" said the old man. "I’ll take care of everything you need. Only don’t spend the night in the square." 21So he brought him to his house and fed the donkeys. Then they washed their feet and ate and drank. 22While they were enjoying themselves, all of a sudden, wicked men of the city surrounded the house and beat on the door. They said to the old man who was the owner of the house, "Bring out the man who came to your house so we can have sex with him!"

Chapter 19

19even though we have everything we need. We have straw and feed for our donkeys and plenty of bread and wine for ourselves.'
20You are welcome to stay with me,' the old man said. 'I will give you anything you might need. But whatever you do, don’t spend the night in the square.' 21So he took them home with him and fed the donkeys. After they washed their feet, they ate and drank together.
22While they were enjoying themselves, a crowd of troublemakers from the town surrounded the house. They began beating at the door and shouting to the old man, 'Bring out the man who is staying with you so we can have sex with him.'

20"You are welcome at my house," the old man said. "Let me supply whatever you need. Only don’t spend the night in the square." 21So he took him into his house and fed his donkeys. After they had washed their feet, they had something to eat and drink.
22While they were enjoying themselves, some of the wicked men of the city surrounded the house. Pounding on the door, they shouted to the old man who owned the house, "Bring out the man who came to your house so we can have sex with him."

20And the old man said, “Peace be with you! However, let all your needs be my responsibility; only do not spend the night in the open square.” 21So he brought him into his house, and gave fodder to the donkeys. And they washed their feet, and ate and drank.
22As they were enjoying themselves, suddenly certain men of the city, perverted men, surrounded the house and beat on the door. They spoke to the master of the house, the old man, saying, “Bring out the man who came to your house, that we may know him carnally!”
