New American Standard Bible
Chapter 36
26Behold, God is exalted, and we do not know Him; The number of His years is unsearchable. 27For He draws up the drops of water; They distill rain from its celestial stream, 28Which clouds pour down; They drip upon mankind abundantly. 29Can anyone understand the spreading of the clouds, The thundering of His pavilion? 30Behold, He spreads His lightning about Him, And He covers the depths of the sea.King James Version
Chapter 36
26Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out. 27For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof: 28Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly. 29Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle? 30Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 36
26Yes, God is exalted beyond our knowledge; the number of his years cannot be counted. 27For he makes waterdrops evaporate; they distill the rain into its mist, 28which the clouds pour out and shower abundantly on mankind. 29Can anyone understand how the clouds spread out or how the thunder roars from God's pavilion? 30See how he spreads his lightning around him and covers the depths of the sea.New Living Translation
Chapter 36
26'Look, God is greater than we can understand. His years cannot be counted. 27He draws up the water vapor and then distills it into rain. 28The rain pours down from the clouds, and everyone benefits. 29Who can understand the spreading of the clouds and the thunder that rolls forth from heaven? 30See how he spreads the lightning around him and how it lights up the depths of the sea.English Standard Version
