Job 30:14-20
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 30
14As through a wide gap they come, Amid the storm they roll on. 15Sudden terrors are turned upon me; They chase away my dignity like the wind, And my prosperity has passed away like a cloud. 16'And now my soul is poured out within me; Days of misery have seized me. 17At night it pierces my bones within me, And my gnawing pains do not rest. 18By a great force my garment is distorted; It ties me up like the collar of my coat. 19He has thrown me into the mire, And I have become like dust and ashes. 20I cry out to You for help, but You do not answer me; I stand up, and You turn Your attention against me.King James Version
15Terrors are turned upon me: they pursue my soul as the wind: and my welfare passeth away as a cloud.
16And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me.
17My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest.
18By the great force of my disease is my garment changed: it bindeth me about as the collar of my coat.
19He hath cast me into the mire, and I am become like dust and ashes.
20I cry unto thee, and thou dost not hear me: I stand up, and thou regardest me not.
Christian Standard Bible
15Terrors are turned loose against me; they chase my dignity away like the wind, and my prosperity has passed by like a cloud.
16Now my life is poured out before me, and days of suffering have seized me.
17Night pierces my bones, but my gnawing pains never rest.
18My clothing is distorted with great force; he chokes me by the neck of my garment.
New Living Translation

Chapter 30
14As through a wide breach they come; amid the crash they roll on. 15Terrors are turned upon me; my honor is pursued as by the wind, and my prosperity has passed away like a cloud. 16“And now my soul is poured out within me; days of affliction have taken hold of me. 17The night racks my bones, and the pain that gnaws me takes no rest. 18With great force my garment is disfigured; it binds me about like the collar of my tunic. 19God has cast me into the mire, and I have become like dust and ashes. 20I cry to you for help and you do not answer me; I stand, and you only look at me.New International Version
15Terrors overwhelm me; my dignity is driven away as by the wind, my safety vanishes like a cloud.
16And now my life ebbs away; days of suffering grip me.
17Night pierces my bones; my gnawing pains never rest.
18In his great power God becomes like clothing to me; he binds me like the neck of my garment.
New King James Version
