said to Satan, 'Behold, he is in your power, only spare his life.'

Then Satan went out from the presence of the
Lord
and struck Job with severe boils from the sole of his foot to the top of his head.

in thine hand; but save his life.

So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

"Very well," the Lord told Satan, "he is in your power; only spare his life."

So Satan left the Lord's presence and infected Job with terrible boils from the soles of his feet to the top of his head.
