Chapter 28
3 Man puts an end to darkness, And to the farthest limit he searches out The rock in gloom and deep shadow. 4He sinks a shaft away from inhabited areas, Forgotten by the foot; They hang and swing, away from people. 5 From the earth comes food, And underneath, it is turned over like fire. 6Its rocks are the source of sapphires, And its dust contains gold.King James Version

3A miner puts an end to the darkness; he probes the deepest recesses for ore in the gloomy darkness. 4He cuts a shaft far from human habitation, in places unknown to those who walk above ground. 3They know how to shine light in the darkness and explore the farthest regions of the earth as they search in the dark for ore. 4They sink a mine shaft into the earth far from where anyone lives.
