Habakkuk 2:1-3
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 2
1I will stand at my guard post And station myself on the watchtower; And I will keep watch to see what He will say to me, And how I may reply when I am reprimanded. 2Then the Lord answered me and said, 'Write down the vision And inscribe it clearly on tablets, So that one who reads it may run. 3For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hurries toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it delays, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay long.King James Version
Chapter 2
1I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. 2And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. 3For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.Christian Standard Bible
New Living Translation
2Then the Lord said to me, 'Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.
3This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.
