So Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed to him like
only
a few days because of his love for her.
21
Then Jacob said to Laban, 'Give
me
my wife, for my time is completed, that I may have relations with her.'
22
So Laban gathered all the people of the place and held a feast.

And Jacob served seven years for Rachel; and they seemed unto him
but
a few days, for the love he had to her.

And Jacob said unto Laban, Give
me
my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in unto her.

So Jacob worked seven years for Rachel, and they seemed like only a few days to him because of his love for her.

Then Jacob said to Laban, "Since my time is complete, give me my wife, so I can sleep with her."

So Laban invited all the men of the place and sponsored a feast.
New Living Translation
Chapter 29
20
So Jacob worked seven years to pay for Rachel. But his love for her was so strong that it seemed to him but a few days.
21
Finally, the time came for him to marry her. 'I have fulfilled my agreement,' Jacob said to Laban. 'Now give me my wife so I can sleep with her.'
22
So Laban invited everyone in the neighborhood and prepared a wedding feast.
