Galatians 3:5-6
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 3
5
So then, does He who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?
6
Just as Abraham BELIEVED
God
, AND IT WAS CREDITED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.
King James Version
Chapter 3
5
He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you,
doeth he it
by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
6
Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 3
5
So then, does God give you the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law? Or is it by believing what you heard--
6
just like Abraham who believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness?
New Living Translation
Chapter 3
5
I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ.
6
In the same way, 'Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.'
English Standard Version
Chapter 3
5
Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith—
6
just as Abraham “believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”?
New International Version
Chapter 3
5
So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?
6
So also Abraham 'believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.'
New King James Version
Chapter 3
5
Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you,
does He do it
by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?—
6
just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”
