New American Standard Bible
Chapter 8
15
And He said to me, 'Do you see
this,
son of man? Yet you will see still greater abominations than these!'
16
Then He brought me into the inner courtyard of the
Lord
’S house. And behold, at the entrance to the temple of the
Lord
, between the porch and the altar,
were
about twenty-five men
with
their backs to the temple of the
Lord
while their faces were toward the east; and they were prostrating themselves eastward toward the sun.
King James Version
Chapter 8
15
Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.
16
And he brought me into the inner court of the
Lord
'S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the
Lord
, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the
Lord
, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.
Christian Standard Bible

Lord
’s house, and there were about twenty-five men at the entrance of the
Lord
’s temple, between the portico and the altar, with their backs to the
Lord
’s temple and their faces turned to the east. They were bowing to the east in worship of the sun.
New Living Translation
Chapter 8
15
Have you seen this?' he asked. 'But I will show you even more detestable sins than these!'
16
Then he brought me into the inner courtyard of the
Lord
’s Temple. At the entrance to the sanctuary, between the entry room and the bronze altar, there were about twenty-five men with their backs to the sanctuary of the
Lord
. They were facing east, bowing low to the ground, worshiping the sun!
