Ezekiel 47:10-13
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 47
10
And it will come about that fishermen will stand beside it; from Engedi to Eneglaim there will be a place for the spreading of nets. Their fish will be according to their kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea, very many.
11
But its swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they will be left for salt.
12
And by the river on its bank, on one side and on the other, will grow all
kinds of
trees for food. Their leaves will not wither and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month because their water flows from the sanctuary, and their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing.'
13
This is what the Lord
God
says: 'This
shall be
the boundary by which you shall divide the land for an inheritance among the twelve tribes of Israel; Joseph
shall have
two portions.
King James Version
Chapter 47
10
And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from Engedi even unto Eneglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many.
11
But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.
12
And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.
13
Thus saith the Lord
God
; This shall be the border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 47
10
Fishermen will stand beside it from En-gedi to En-eglaim. These will become places where nets are spread out to dry. Their fish will consist of many different kinds, like the fish of the Mediterranean Sea.
11
Yet its swamps and marshes will not be healed; they will be left for salt.
12
All kinds of trees providing food will grow along both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. Each month they will bear fresh fruit because the water comes from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be used for food and their leaves for medicine."
13
This is what the Lord
God
says: "This is the border you will use to divide the land as an inheritance for the twelve tribes of Israel. Joseph will receive two shares.
New Living Translation
Chapter 47
10
Fishermen will stand along the shores of the Dead Sea. All the way from En-gedi to En-eglaim, the shores will be covered with nets drying in the sun. Fish of every kind will fill the Dead Sea, just as they fill the Mediterranean.
11
But the marshes and swamps will not be purified; they will still be salty.
12
Fruit trees of all kinds will grow along both sides of the river. The leaves of these trees will never turn brown and fall, and there will always be fruit on their branches. There will be a new crop every month, for they are watered by the river flowing from the Temple. The fruit will be for food and the leaves for healing.'
13
This is what the Sovereign
Lord
says: 'Divide the land in this way for the twelve tribes of Israel: The descendants of Joseph will be given two shares of land.
English Standard Version
Chapter 47

Fishermen will stand beside the sea. From Engedi to Eneglaim it will be a place for the spreading of nets. Its fish will be of very many kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea.

But its swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they are to be left for salt.

And on the banks, on both sides of the river, there will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither, nor their fruit fail, but they will bear fresh fruit every month, because the water for them flows from the sanctuary. 10
Fishermen will stand along the shore; from En Gedi to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading nets. The fish will be of many kinds—like the fish of the Mediterranean Sea.
11
But the swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they will be left for salt.
12
Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing."
13
This is what the Sovereign
Lord
says: "These are the boundaries of the land that you will divide among the twelve tribes of Israel as their inheritance, with two portions for Joseph.
New King James Version
Chapter 47
10
It shall be
that
fishermen will stand by it from En Gedi to En Eglaim; they will be
places
for spreading their nets. Their fish will be of the same kinds as the fish of the Great Sea, exceedingly many.
11
But its swamps and marshes will not be healed; they will be given over to salt.
12
Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all
kinds of
trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.”
13
Thus says the Lord
God
: “These
are
the borders by which you shall divide the land as an inheritance among the twelve tribes of Israel. Joseph
