Then he brought me to the inner courtyard by the south gate; and he measured the south gate according to those same measurements.

Its guardrooms also, its side pillars, and its porches
were
according to those same measurements. And the gate and its porches had windows all around; it
was
fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.

And the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, according to these measures: and there were windows in it and in the arches thereof round about: it was fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad.

Its recesses, jambs, and portico had the same measurements as the others. Both it and its portico had windows all around. It was 87½ feet long and 43¾ feet wide.

Then the man took me to the south gateway leading into the inner courtyard. He measured it, and it had the same measurements as the other gateways.

Its guard alcoves, dividing walls, and entry room were the same size as those in the others. It also had windows along its walls and in the entry room. And like the others, the gateway passage was 87 1/2 feet long and 43 3/4 feet wide.
