New American Standard Bible
Chapter 39
15As those who pass through the land pass through and anyone sees a human bone, then he will set up a marker by it until the burial detail has buried it in the Valley of Hamon-gog. 16And even the name of the city will be Hamonah. So they will cleanse the land.'?’
17Now as for you, son of man, this is what the Lord God says: ‘Say to every kind of bird and to every animal of the field: 'Assemble and come, gather from every direction to My sacrifice, which I am going to sacrifice for you as a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel; and you will eat flesh and drink blood.
18You will eat the flesh of warriors and drink the blood of the leaders of the earth, as though they were rams, lambs, goats, and bulls, all of them fattened livestock of Bashan.
19So you will eat fat until you are full, and drink blood until you are drunk, from My sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
20You will eat your fill at My table with horses and charioteers, with warriors and all the men of war,' declares the Lord God.
21And I will place My glory among the nations; and all the nations will see My judgment which I have executed, and My hand which I have laid on them.
22And the house of Israel will know that I am the Lord their God, from that day onward.
23The nations will know that the house of Israel went into exile for their wrongdoing, because they were disloyal to Me, and I hid My face from them; so I handed them over to their adversaries, and all of them fell by the sword.

Chapter 39
15And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog. 16And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land. 17And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. 18Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. 19And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. 20Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD. 21And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them. 22So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 39
15When they pass through the land and one of them sees a human bone, he will set up a marker next to it until the buriers have buried it in Hordes of Gog Valley. 16There will even be a city named Hamonah there. So they will cleanse the land.'
17"Son of man, this is what the Lord God says: Tell every kind of bird and all the wild animals, 'Assemble and come! Gather from all around to my sacrificial feast that I am slaughtering for you, a great feast on the mountains of Israel; you will eat flesh and drink blood.
18You will eat the flesh of mighty men and drink the blood of the earth's princes: rams, lambs, male goats, and all the fattened bulls of Bashan.
19You will eat fat until you are satisfied and drink blood until you are drunk, at my sacrificial feast that I have prepared for you.
20At my table you will eat your fill of horses and riders, of mighty men and all the warriors. This is the declaration of the Lord God.'
21"I will display my glory among the nations, and all the nations will see the judgment I have executed and the hand I have laid on them.
22From that day forward the house of Israel will know that I am the Lord their God.
23And the nations will know that the house of Israel went into exile on account of their iniquity, because they dealt unfaithfully with me. Therefore, I hid my face from them and handed them over to their enemies, so that they all fell by the sword.
New Living Translation
Chapter 39
15Whenever bones are found, a marker will be set up so the burial crews will take them to be buried in the Valley of Gog’s Hordes. 16(There will be a town there named Hamonah, which means ‘horde.’) And so the land will finally be cleansed.
17And now, son of man, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Call all the birds and wild animals. Say to them: Gather together for my great sacrificial feast. Come from far and near to the mountains of Israel, and there eat flesh and drink blood!
18Eat the flesh of mighty men and drink the blood of princes as though they were rams, lambs, goats, and bulls — all fattened animals from Bashan!
19Gorge yourselves with flesh until you are glutted; drink blood until you are drunk. This is the sacrificial feast I have prepared for you.
20Feast at my banquet table — feast on horses and charioteers, on mighty men and all kinds of valiant warriors, says the Sovereign Lord.
21In this way, I will demonstrate my glory to the nations. Everyone will see the punishment I have inflicted on them and the power of my fist when I strike.
22And from that time on the people of Israel will know that I am the Lord their God.
23The nations will then know why Israel was sent away to exile — it was punishment for sin, for they were unfaithful to their God. Therefore, I turned away from them and let their enemies destroy them.
