Ezekiel 35:10-15
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 35
10Since you have said, ‘These two nations and these two lands will be mine, and we will possess them,’ although the Lord was there, 11therefore as I live,' declares the Lord God, 'I will deal with you according to your anger and according to your envy which you displayed because of your hatred for them; so I will make Myself known among them when I judge you. 12Then you will know that I, the Lord, have heard all your insults which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel saying, ‘They are desolate; they have been given to us as food.’ 13And you have spoken arrogantly against Me and have multiplied your words against Me; I Myself have heard it.' 14This is what the Lord God says: 'As all the earth rejoices, I will make you a desolation. 15As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel because it was desolate, so I will do to you. You will be a desolation, Mount Seir, and all Edom, all of it. Then they will know that I am the Lord.'?’King James Version
Chapter 35
10Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there: 11Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee. 12And thou shalt know that I am the LORD, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume. 13Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them. 14Thus saith the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate. 15As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the LORD.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 35
10" 'Because you said, "These two nations and two lands will be mine, and we will possess them"--though the Lord was there-- 11therefore, as I live--this is the declaration of the Lord God--I will treat you according to the anger and jealousy you showed in your hatred of them. I will make myself known among them when I judge you. 12Then you will know that I, the Lord, have heard all the blasphemies you uttered against the mountains of Israel, saying, "They are desolate. They have been given to us to devour! " 13You boasted against me with your mouth, and spoke many words against me. I heard it myself!
14" 'This is what the Lord God says: While the whole world rejoices, I will make you a desolation.
15Just as you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel because it became a desolation, I will deal the same way with you: you will become a desolation, Mount Seir, and so will all Edom in its entirety. Then they will know that I am the Lord.'
New Living Translation
Chapter 35
10For you said, ‘The lands of Israel and Judah will be ours. We will take possession of them. What do we care that the Lord is there!’ 11Therefore, as surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, I will pay back your angry deeds with my own. I will punish you for all your acts of anger, envy, and hatred. And I will make myself known to Israel by what I do to you. 12Then you will know that I, the Lord, have heard every contemptuous word you spoke against the mountains of Israel. For you said, ‘They are desolate; they have been given to us as food to eat!’ 13In saying that, you boasted proudly against me, and I have heard it all!English Standard Version
Chapter 35
10“Because you said, ‘These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will take possession of them’—although the LORD was there— 11therefore, as I live, declares the Lord GOD, I will deal with you according to the anger and envy that you showed because of your hatred against them. And I will make myself known among them, when I judge you. 12And you shall know that I am the LORD. “I have heard all the revilings that you uttered against the mountains of Israel, saying, ‘They are laid desolate; they are given us to devour.’
13And you magnified yourselves against me with your mouth, and multiplied your words against me; I heard it.
14Thus says the Lord GOD: While the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.
15As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so I will deal with you; you shall be desolate, Mount Seir, and all Edom, all of it. Then they will know that I am the LORD.

Chapter 35
10'Because you have said, 'These two nations and countries will be ours and we will take possession of them,' even though I the LORD was there, 11therefore as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I will treat you in accordance with the anger and jealousy you showed in your hatred of them and I will make myself known among them when I judge you. 12Then you will know that I the LORD have heard all the contemptible things you have said against the mountains of Israel. You said, 'They have been laid waste and have been given over to us to devour.' 13You boasted against me and spoke against me without restraint, and I heard it. 14This is what the Sovereign LORD says: While the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate. 15Because you rejoiced when the inheritance of Israel became desolate, that is how I will treat you. You will be desolate, Mount Seir, you and all of Edom. Then they will know that I am the LORD.''New King James Version
