and he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows the horn and warns the people,

then someone who hears the sound of the horn but does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his
own
head.

If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;

Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

And suppose he sees the sword coming against the land and blows his ram's horn to warn the people.

Then, if anyone hears the sound of the ram's horn but ignores the warning, and the sword comes and takes him away, his death will be his own fault.

When the watchman sees the enemy coming, he sounds the alarm to warn the people.

Then if those who hear the alarm refuse to take action, it is their own fault if they die.
