Ezekiel 32:30-31
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 32
30
There
also are
the chiefs of the north, all of them, and all the Sidonians, who in
spite of
the terror
resulting
from their might, in shame went down with the slain. So they lay down uncircumcised with those killed by the sword and bore their disgrace with those who go down to the pit.
31
These Pharaoh will see, and he will find consolation regarding all his hordes killed by the sword, Pharaoh and all his army,' declares the Lord
God
.
King James Version
Chapter 32
30
There be the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians, which are gone down with the slain; with their terror they are ashamed of their might; and they lie uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword, and bear their shame with them that go down to the pit.
31
Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army slain by the sword, saith the Lord
God
.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 32
30
All the leaders of the north
and all the Sidonians are there.
They went down in shame with the slain,
despite the terror their strength inspired.
They lie down uncircumcised
with those slain by the sword.
They bear their disgrace
with those who descend to the Pit.
31
"Pharaoh will see them
and be comforted over all his hordes—
Pharaoh and his whole army,
slain by the sword."
This is the declaration of the Lord
God
.
New Living Translation
Chapter 32
30
All the princes of the north and the Sidonians are there with others who have died. Once a terror, they have been put to shame. They lie there as outcasts with others who were slaughtered by the sword. They share the shame of all who have descended to the pit.
31
When Pharaoh and his entire army arrive, he will take comfort that he is not alone in having his hordes killed, says the Sovereign
Lord
.
English Standard Version
Chapter 32
30
"The princes of the north are there, all of them, and all the Sidonians, who have gone down in shame with the slain, for all the terror that they caused by their might; they lie uncircumcised with those who are slain by the sword, and bear their shame with those who go down to the pit.
31
"When Pharaoh sees them, he will be comforted for all his multitude, Pharaoh and all his army, slain by the sword, declares the Lord
God
.
New International Version
Chapter 32
30
"All the princes of the north and all the Sidonians are there; they went down with the slain in disgrace despite the terror caused by their power. They lie uncircumcised with those killed by the sword and bear their shame with those who go down to the pit.
31
"Pharaoh—he and all his army—will see them and he will be consoled for all his hordes that were killed by the sword, declares the Sovereign
Lord
.
New King James Version
Chapter 32
30
There
are
the princes of the north,
All of them, and all the Sidonians,
Who have gone down with the slain
In shame at the terror which they caused by their might;
They lie uncircumcised with
those
slain by the sword,
And bear their shame with those who go down to the Pit.
31
“Pharaoh will see them
And be comforted over all his multitude,
Pharaoh and all his army,
Slain by the sword,”
Says the Lord
God
.
