Ezekiel 18:14-15
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 18
14
Now behold, he has fathered a son who saw all his father’s sins which he committed, but he has seen
them
and does not do likewise.
15
He does not eat at the mountain
shrines
or raise his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel; he has not defiled his neighbor’s wife,
King James Version
Chapter 18
14
Now, lo,
if
he beget a son, that seeth all his father's sins which he hath done, and considereth, and doeth not such like,
15
That
hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, hath not defiled his neighbour's wife,
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 18
14
"Now suppose he has a son who sees all the sins his father has committed, and though he sees them, he does not do likewise.
15
He does not eat at the mountain shrines or look to the idols of the house of Israel. He does not defile his neighbor's wife.
New Living Translation
Chapter 18
14
But suppose that sinful son, in turn, has a son who sees his father’s wickedness and decides against that kind of life.
15
This son refuses to worship idols on the mountains and does not commit adultery.
English Standard Version
Chapter 18
14
“Now suppose this man fathers a son who sees all the sins that his father has done; he sees, and does not do likewise:
15
he does not eat upon the mountains or lift up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, does not defile his neighbor’s wife,
New International Version
Chapter 18
14
But suppose this son has a son who sees all the sins his father commits, and though he sees them, he does not do such things:
15
He does not eat at the mountain shrines or look to the idols of Israel. He does not defile his neighbor's wife.
New King James Version
Chapter 18
14
“
If,
however, he begets a son
Who sees all the sins which his father has done,
And considers but does not do likewise;
15
Who
has not eaten on the mountains,
Nor lifted his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel,
Nor defiled his neighbor’s wife;
