Chapter 13

12Behold, when the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, ‘Where is the plaster with which you plastered it?’?' 13Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: 'I will make a violent wind break out in My wrath. There will also be in My anger a flooding rain and hailstones to consume it in wrath.

13Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.

12When the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, "Where’s the whitewash you plastered on it?"
13"‘So this is what the Lord God says: I will release a whirlwind in my wrath. Torrential rain will come in my anger, and hailstones will fall in destructive fury.

13Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will sweep away your whitewashed wall with a storm of indignation, with a great flood of anger, and with hailstones of fury.
