Exodus 30:33-38
New American Standard Bible
34Then the Lord said to Moses, 'Take for yourself spices—stacte, onycha, and galbanum, spices and pure frankincense; there shall be an equal part of each.
35You shall make incense from it all, a skillful mixture, the work of a perfumer, salted, pure, and holy.
36And you shall crush some of it very fine, and put part of it in front of the testimony in the tent of meeting where I will meet with you; it shall be most holy to you.
37And the incense which you shall make, you shall not make in the same proportions for yourselves; it shall be holy to you for the Lord.
38Whoever makes any like it, to use as perfume, shall be cut off from his people.'
King James Version
34And the Lord said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight:
35And thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure and holy:
36And thou shalt beat some of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto you most holy.
37And as for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee holy for the Lord.
38Whosoever shall make like unto that, to smell thereto, shall even be cut off from his people.
Christian Standard Bible
34The Lord said to Moses: "Take fragrant spices: stacte, onycha, and galbanum; the spices and pure frankincense are to be in equal measures.
35Prepare expertly blended incense from these; it is to be seasoned with salt, pure and holy.
36Grind some of it into a fine powder and put some in front of the testimony in the tent of meeting, where I will meet with you. It must be especially holy to you.
37As for the incense you are making, you must not make any for yourselves using its formula. It is to be regarded by you as holy—belonging to the Lord.
38Anyone who makes something like it to smell its fragrance must be cut off from his people."
New Living Translation
34Then the Lord said to Moses, 'Gather fragrant spices — resin droplets, mollusk shell, and galbanum — and mix these fragrant spices with pure frankincense, weighed out in equal amounts.
35Using the usual techniques of the incense maker, blend the spices together and sprinkle them with salt to produce a pure and holy incense.
36Grind some of the mixture into a very fine powder and put it in front of the Ark of the Covenant, where I will meet with you in the Tabernacle. You must treat this incense as most holy.
37Never use this formula to make this incense for yourselves. It is reserved for the Lord, and you must treat it as holy.
38Anyone who makes incense like this for personal use will be cut off from the community.'
English Standard Version

35and make an incense blended as by the perfumer, seasoned with salt, pure and holy.
36You shall beat some of it very small, and put part of it before the testimony in the tent of meeting where I shall meet with you. It shall be most holy for you.
37And the incense that you shall make according to its composition, you shall not make for yourselves. It shall be for you holy to the Lord.
38Whoever makes any like it to use as perfume shall be cut off from his people."
New International Version
34Then the Lord said to Moses, "Take fragrant spices—gum resin, onycha and galbanum—and pure frankincense, all in equal amounts,
35and make a fragrant blend of incense, the work of a perfumer. It is to be salted and pure and sacred.
36Grind some of it to powder and place it in front of the ark of the covenant law in the tent of meeting, where I will meet with you. It shall be most holy to you.
37Do not make any incense with this formula for yourselves; consider it holy to the Lord.
38Whoever makes incense like it to enjoy its fragrance must be cut off from their people."
New King James Version

35You shall make of these an incense, a compound according to the art of the perfumer, salted, pure, and holy.
36And you shall beat some of it very fine, and put some of it before the Testimony in the tabernacle of meeting where I will meet with you. It shall be most holy to you.
37But as for the incense which you shall make, you shall not make any for yourselves, according to its composition. It shall be to you holy for the Lord.
38Whoever makes any like it, to smell it, he shall be cut off from his people.”
