Exodus 30:1-7
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 30
1
Now you shall make an altar as a place for burning incense; you shall make it of acacia wood.
2
Its length
shall be
a cubit, and its width a cubit; it shall be square, and its height
shall be
two cubits; its horns
shall be
of one piece with it.
3
You shall overlay it with pure gold, its top and its sides all around, and its horns; and you shall make a gold molding all around for it.
4
You shall also make two gold rings for it under its molding; you shall make
them
on its two sides—on opposite sides—and they shall be holders for poles with which to carry it.
5
And you shall make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.
6
You shall put this altar in front of the veil that is near the ark of the testimony, in front of the atoning cover that is over
the ark of
the testimony, where I will meet with you.
7
Aaron shall burn fragrant incense on it; he shall burn it every morning when he trims the lamps.
King James Version
Chapter 30
1
And thou shalt make an altar to burn incense upon: of shittim wood shalt thou make it.
2
A cubit shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof; foursquare shall it be: and two cubits shall be the height thereof: the horns thereof shall be of the same.
3
And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof; and thou shalt make unto it a crown of gold round about.
4
And two golden rings shalt thou make to it under the crown of it, by the two corners thereof, upon the two sides of it shalt thou make it; and they shall be for places for the staves to bear it withal.
5
And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.
6
And thou shalt put it before the vail that is by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy seat that is over the testimony, where I will meet with thee.
7
And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.
Christian Standard Bible

Overlay the top, sides, and horns of the altar with pure gold, and run a gold molding around the entire altar.
4
Make two gold rings, and attach them on opposite sides of the altar below the gold molding to hold the carrying poles.
5
