Exodus 25:20-24
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 25
20
And the cherubim shall have
their
wings spread upward, covering the atoning cover with their wings and facing one another; the faces of the cherubim are to be
turned
toward the atoning cover.
21
Then you shall put the atoning cover on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the testimony which I will give to you.
22
There I will meet with you; and from above the atoning cover, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, I will speak to you about every commandment that I will give you for the sons of Israel.
23
You shall also make a table of acacia wood, two cubits long and one cubit wide, and one and a half cubits high.
24
You shall overlay it with pure gold and make a gold border around it.
King James Version
Chapter 25
20
And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.
21
And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.
22
And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.
23
Thou shalt also make a table of shittim wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
24
And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about.
Christian Standard Bible

Set the mercy seat on top of the ark and put the tablets of the testimony that I will give you into the ark.
22

23
"You are to construct a table of acacia wood, thirty-six inches long, eighteen inches wide, and twenty-seven inches high.

22
I will meet with you there and talk to you from above the atonement cover between the gold cherubim that hover over the Ark of the Covenant. From there I will give you my commands for the people of Israel.

Then make a table of acacia wood, 36 inches long, 18 inches wide, and 27 inches high.
