Chapter 12
40Now the time that the sons of Israel had lived in Egypt was 430 years. 41And at the end of 430 years, on this very day, all the multitudes of the Lord departed from the land of Egypt.
43And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, 'This is the ordinance of the Passover: no foreigner is to eat it;
44but as for every slave that someone has purchased with money, after you have circumcised him, then he may eat it.
45A stranger or a hired worker shall not eat it.
46It is to be eaten in a single house; you are not to bring any of the meat outside of the house, nor are you to break any bone of it.
47All the congregation of Israel are to celebrate this.
48But if a stranger resides with you and celebrates the Passover to the Lord, all of his males are to be circumcised, and then he shall come near to celebrate it; and he shall be like a native of the land. But no uncircumcised male may eat it.
49The same law shall apply to the native as to the stranger who resides among you.'

40Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. 41And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt. 42It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.
43And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:
44But every man's servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.
45A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.
46In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.
47All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.
48And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
49One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.
50Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
51And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the LORD did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.

Chapter 12
40The time that the Israelites lived in Egypt was 430 years. 41At the end of 430 years, on that same day, all the Lord's military divisions went out from the land of Egypt. 42It was a night of vigil in honor of the Lord, because he would bring them out of the land of Egypt. This same night is in honor of the Lord, a night vigil for all the Israelites throughout their generations.
43The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, "This is the statute of the Passover: no foreigner may eat it.
44But any slave a man has purchased may eat it, after you have circumcised him.
45A temporary resident or hired worker may not eat the Passover.
46It is to be eaten in one house. You may not take any of the meat outside the house, and you may not break any of its bones.
47The whole community of Israel must celebrate it.
48If an alien resides among you and wants to observe the Lord's Passover, every male in his household must be circumcised, and then he may participate; he will become like a native of the land. But no uncircumcised person may eat it.
49The same law will apply to both the native and the alien who resides among you."

40The people of Israel had lived in Egypt for 430 years. 41In fact, it was on the last day of the 430th year that all the Lord’s forces left the land. 42On this night the Lord kept his promise to bring his people out of the land of Egypt. So this night belongs to him, and it must be commemorated every year by all the Israelites, from generation to generation.
43Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, 'These are the instructions for the festival of Passover. No outsiders are allowed to eat the Passover meal.
44But any slave who has been purchased may eat it if he has been circumcised.
45Temporary residents and hired servants may not eat it.
46Each Passover lamb must be eaten in one house. Do not carry any of its meat outside, and do not break any of its bones.
47The whole community of Israel must celebrate this Passover festival.
48If there are foreigners living among you who want to celebrate the Lord’s Passover, let all their males be circumcised. Only then may they celebrate the Passover with you like any native-born Israelite. But no uncircumcised male may ever eat the Passover meal.
49This instruction applies to everyone, whether a native-born Israelite or a foreigner living among you.'

40Now the length of time the Israelite people lived in Egypt was 430 years. 41At the end of the 430 years, to the very day, all the LORD's divisions left Egypt. 42Because the LORD kept vigil that night to bring them out of Egypt, on this night all the Israelites are to keep vigil to honor the LORD for the generations to come.
43The LORD said to Moses and Aaron, 'These are the regulations for the Passover meal: 'No foreigner may eat it.
44Any slave you have bought may eat it after you have circumcised him,
45but a temporary resident or a hired worker may not eat it.
46It must be eaten inside the house; take none of the meat outside the house. Do not break any of the bones.
47The whole community of Israel must celebrate it.
