THEREFORE MY HEART WAS GLAD AND MY TONGUE WAS OVERJOYED;
MOREOVER MY FLESH ALSO WILL LIVE IN HOPE;

FOR YOU WILL NOT ABANDON MY SOUL TO HADES,
NOR WILL YOU ALLOW YOUR HOLY ONE TO UNDERGO DECAY.

Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Therefore my heart is gladand my tongue rejoices.Moreover, my flesh will rest in hope,

because you will not abandon me in Hadesor allow your holy one to see decay.

No wonder my heart is glad,

My body rests in hope.

For you will not leave my soul among the dead
or allow your Holy One to rot in the grave.
