Chapter 25
17So after they had assembled here, I did not delay, but on the next day took my seat on the tribunal and ordered that the man be brought. 18When the accusers stood up, they did not begin bringing any charges against him of crimes that I suspected, 19but they simply had some points of disagreement with him about their own religion and about a dead man, Jesus, whom Paul asserted to be alive.King James Version
Chapter 25
17Therefore, when they were come hither, without any delay on the morrow I sat on the judgment seat, and commanded the man to be brought forth. 18Against whom when the accusers stood up, they brought none accusation of such things as I supposed: 19But had certain questions against him of their own superstition, and of one Jesus, which was dead, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.Christian Standard Bible
