Acts 2:8-11
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 2
8
And how
is it that
we each hear
them
in our own language to which we were born?
9
Parthians, Medes, and Elamites, and residents of Mesopotamia, Judea, and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,
10
Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya around Cyrene, and visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes,
11
Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our
own
tongues of the mighty deeds of God.'
King James Version

Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10
Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
11
Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
Christian Standard Bible

10
Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, and the areas of Libya around Cyrene, visitors from Rome
11
(both Jews and converts to Judaism), Cretans, and Arabs. And we all hear these people speaking in our own languages about the wonderful things God has done!'
