Acts 18:18-24
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 18
18Now Paul, when he had remained many days longer, took leave of the brothers and sisters and sailed away to Syria, and Priscilla and Aquila were with him. Paul first had his hair cut at Cenchrea, for he was keeping a vow. 19They came to Ephesus, and he left them there. Now he himself entered the synagogue and reasoned with the Jews. 20When they asked him to stay for a longer time, he did not consent, 21but took leave of them and said, 'I will return to you again if God wills,' and he set sail from Ephesus.King James Version
19And he came to Ephesus, and left them there: but he himself entered into the synagogue, and reasoned with the Jews.
20When they desired him to tarry longer time with them, he consented not;
21But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.
22And when he had landed at Caesarea, and gone up, and saluted the church, he went down to Antioch.
23And after he had spent some time there, he departed, and went over all the country of Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples.

Chapter 18
18After staying for some time, Paul said farewell to the brothers and sisters and sailed away to Syria, accompanied by Priscilla and Aquila. He shaved his head at Cenchreae because of a vow he had taken. 19When they reached Ephesus he left them there, but he himself entered the synagogue and debated with the Jews. 20When they asked him to stay for a longer time, he declined, 21but he said farewell and added, "I’ll come back to you again, if God wills." Then he set sail from Ephesus.New Living Translation
19They stopped first at the port of Ephesus, where Paul left the others behind. While he was there, he went to the synagogue to reason with the Jews.
20They asked him to stay longer, but he declined.
21As he left, however, he said, 'I will come back later, God willing.' Then he set sail from Ephesus.
22The next stop was at the port of Caesarea. From there he went up and visited the church at Jerusalem and then went back to Antioch.
