Chapter 4

22 Then she called to her husband and said, 'Please send me one of the servants and one of the donkeys, so that I may run to the man of God and return.' 23 But he said, 'Why are you going to him today? It is neither new moon nor Sabbath.' So she just said, 'It will be fine.'

22 And she called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come again. 23 And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him to day? it is neither new moon, nor sabbath. And she said, It shall be well.

22 She summoned her husband and said, "Please send me one of the servants and one of the donkeys, so I can hurry to the man of God and come back again."

23 But he said, "Why go to him today? It's not a New Moon or a Sabbath."She replied, "It's all right."

22 She sent a message to her husband: 'Send one of the servants and a donkey so that I can hurry to the man of God and come right back.'

23 'Why go today?' he asked. 'It is neither a new moon festival nor a Sabbath.' But she said, 'It will be all right.'

22 Then she called to her husband and said, “Send me one of the servants and one of the donkeys, that I may quickly go to the man of God and come back again.” 23 And he said, “Why will you go to him today? It is neither new moon nor Sabbath.” She said, “All is well.”

New International Version

Chapter 4

22 She called her husband and said, 'Please send me one of the servants and a donkey so I can go to the man of God quickly and return.'

23 Why go to him today?' he asked. 'It's not the New Moon or the Sabbath.' 'That's all right,' she said.
