12And Elisha was watching it and he was crying out, 'My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!' And he did not see Elijah again. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces. 13He also took up the coat of Elijah that had fallen from him, and he went back and stood by the bank of the Jordan. 14Then he took the coat of Elijah that had fallen from him and struck the waters, and said, 'Where is the Lord, the God of Elijah?' And when he also had struck the waters, they were divided here and there; and Elisha crossed over.King James Version
13He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan;
14And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.
15And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.

" When he could see him no longer, he took hold of his own clothes, tore them in two, 13picked up the mantle that had fallen off Elijah, and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan. 14He took the mantle Elijah had dropped, and he struck the water. "Where is the Lord God of Elijah? " he asked. He struck the water himself, and it parted to the right and the left, and Elisha crossed over.New Living Translation

13And he took up the cloak of Elijah that had fallen from him and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan.
14Then he took the cloak of Elijah that had fallen from him and struck the water, saying, “Where is the LORD, the God of Elijah?” And when he had struck the water, the water was parted to the one side and to the other, and Elisha went over.

13Elisha then picked up Elijah's cloak that had fallen from him and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan.
14He took the cloak that had fallen from Elijah and struck the water with it. 'Where now is the LORD, the God of Elijah?' he asked. When he struck the water, it divided to the right and to the left, and he crossed over.
