Chapter 22

6to the carpenters, the builders, the masons, and for buying timber and cut stone to repair the house. 7However, no accounting shall be made with them for the money handed over to them, because they deal honestly.'
8Then Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, 'I have found the Book of the Law in the house of the Lord.' And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, who read it.

6Unto carpenters, and builders, and masons, and to buy timber and hewn stone to repair the house. 7Howbeit there was no reckoning made with them of the money that was delivered into their hand, because they dealt faithfully.
8And Hilkiah the high priest said unto Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the Lord. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.

8The high priest Hilkiah told the court secretary Shaphan, "I have found the book of the law in the Lord’s temple," and he gave the book to Shaphan, who read it.

6They will need to hire carpenters, builders, and masons. Also have them buy the timber and the finished stone needed to repair the Temple. 7But don’t require the construction supervisors to keep account of the money they receive, for they are honest and trustworthy men.'
8Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the court secretary, 'I have found the Book of the Law in the Lord’s Temple!' Then Hilkiah gave the scroll to Shaphan, and he read it.
