New American Standard Bible
Chapter 21
3For he rebuilt the high places which his father Hezekiah had destroyed; and he erected altars for Baal and made an Asherah, just as Ahab king of Israel had done, and he worshiped all the heavenly lights and served them. 4And he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, 'In Jerusalem I will put My name.' 5He built altars for all the heavenly lights in the two courtyards of the house of the Lord. 6And he made his son pass through the fire, interpreted signs, practiced divination, and used mediums and spiritists. He did great evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking Him to anger.King James Version
Chapter 21
3For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them. 4And he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord said, In Jerusalem will I put my name. 5And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the Lord. 6And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 21
3He rebuilt the high places that his father Hezekiah had destroyed and reestablished the altars for Baal. He made an Asherah, as King Ahab of Israel had done; he also bowed in worship to all the stars in the sky and served them. 4He built altars in the Lord’s temple, where the Lord had said, "Jerusalem is where I will put my name." 5He built altars to all the stars in the sky in both courtyards of the Lord’s temple. 6He sacrificed his son in the fire, practiced witchcraft and divination, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did a huge amount of evil in the Lord’s sight, angering him.New Living Translation
4He built pagan altars in the Temple of the Lord, the place where the Lord had said, 'My name will remain in Jerusalem forever.'
5He built these altars for all the powers of the heavens in both courtyards of the Lord’s Temple.
6Manasseh also sacrificed his own son in the fire. He practiced sorcery and divination, and he consulted with mediums and psychics. He did much that was evil in the Lord’s sight, arousing his anger.
