4
And even before Isaiah had left the middle courtyard, the word of the
Lord
came to him, saying,
5
Return and say to Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘This is what the
Lord
, the God of your father David says: 'I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I am going to heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the
Lord
.
6
And I will add fifteen years to your life, and I will save you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will protect this city for My own sake and for My servant David’s sake.'?’?'
7
Then Isaiah said, 'Take a cake of figs.' And they took
it
and placed
it
on the inflamed spot, and he recovered.

And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the
Lord
came to him, saying,

Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the
Lord
, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the
Lord
.
6
And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.
7
And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.

Chapter 20
4
Isaiah had not yet gone out of the inner courtyard when the word of the
Lord
came to him:
5
"Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people, ‘This is what the
Lord
God of your ancestor David says: I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Look, I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the
Lord
’s temple.
6
I will add fifteen years to your life. I will rescue you and this city from the grasp of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for my sake and for the sake of my servant David.’"
7
Then Isaiah said, "Bring a lump of pressed figs." So they brought it and applied it to his infected skin, and he recovered.
New Living Translation
Chapter 20
4
But before Isaiah had left the middle courtyard, this message came to him from the
Lord
:
5
Go back to Hezekiah, the leader of my people. Tell him, ‘This is what the
Lord
, the God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. I will heal you, and three days from now you will get out of bed and go to the Temple of the
Lord
.
6
I will add fifteen years to your life, and I will rescue you and this city from the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for my own honor and for the sake of my servant David.’'
7
Then Isaiah said, 'Make an ointment from figs.' So Hezekiah’s servants spread the ointment over the boil, and Hezekiah recovered!

And before Isaiah had gone out of the middle court, the word of the
Lord
came to him:

"Turn back, and say to Hezekiah the leader of my people, Thus says the
Lord
, the God of David your father: I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the

and I will add fifteen years to your life. I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria, and I will defend this city for my own sake and for my servant David 's sake."

I will add fifteen years to your life. And I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for my sake and for the sake of my servant David.’ "

Then Isaiah said, "Prepare a poultice of figs." They did so and applied it to the boil, and he recovered.
